This is a full-time, remote position that utilizes a telehealth model to ensure flexibility and accessibility for both our counselors and clients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver direct behavioral health services, including thorough assessments, counseling sessions, and case management tailored to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Engage in multidisciplinary consultations with colleagues such as medical providers, midwives, and lactation consultants, ensuring a holistic approach to care for clients.

• Facilitate childbirth education classes and postpartum peer support groups, working collaboratively with birth workers to provide essential information and emotional support.

• Participate actively in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental wellness, fostering connections among families, and encouraging village-building in the birthing community.

• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation to comply with organizational standards and legal requirements, ensuring excellent record-keeping practices.

• Engage in regular clinical consultations and participate in co-learning spaces to enhance your professional skills and share insights with peers.

• Support clients emotionally and psychologically throughout their journeys to wellness, creating tailored strategies for personal growth and recovery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting Black birthing families, providing culturally responsive care that addresses both their mental health and emotional well-being during a crucial time in their lives. By understanding the specific challenges faced by this demographic, you will create impactful interventions that resonate with their experiences.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related behavioral science from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
\n
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage professionally with diverse clientele and interdisciplinary teams.

• A commitment to seeking guidance and collaborating effectively within a supportive environment to ensure client success.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in providing counseling and case management to pregnant and postpartum clients, particularly from diverse cultural backgrounds.
