MindShift Behavioral Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This role plays a critical part in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through tailored counseling services aimed at emotional and behavioral recovery. This position is fully remote, enabling our counselors to deliver care from the comfort of their own environment while maintaining a connection with our outpatient office in Bend, Oregon. Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique psychosocial needs of patients, ensuring effective discharge plans.

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with community resource leaders, representing MindShift Behavioral Health at meetings and committees focused on addressing the broader social needs of our clients.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention and counseling services to patients, effectively assessing and treating emotional and behavioral issues while prioritizing client safety.
\n
• Communicate proactively with physicians and other healthcare providers to update on patient progress, discuss concerns, and strategize additional support as needed.
\n
• Document clinical findings and progress notes in a timely and accurate manner, adhering to the department's policies and maintaining confidentiality.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will engage with a diverse population of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, many of whom are navigating complex challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use conditions. Through evidence-based practices, you will empower clients to identify their goals, develop coping strategies, and facilitate their journey to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of three years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting is required.
\n
• Holds a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
\n
• Valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
\n
• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic theories, assessment tools, and evidence-based treatment modalities.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling clear interaction with clients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience\n

We value additional experiences such as specialized training in trauma-informed care, experience with telehealth, and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities. The ability to cultivate professional relationships within multidisciplinary teams is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package includes:
