Perform some day-to-day administration and communication of Logistics related tasks.HOW WILL YOU MAKE AN IMPACT?- Oversee the transportation and distribution of goods and supplies for a medium-sized organization, utilizing established procedures; evaluate and propose enhancements to ensure timely delivery.- Attain specific objectives within the designated area by adhering to a supplier management plan or identifying opportunities for improvement.- Execute planning activities within a defined framework/system, considering dependencies on other processes/units.- Lead cost reduction and savings initiatives, ensuring the implementation of cost-saving measures while maintaining quality standards.- Conduct research using primary data sources, selecting pertinent information for analyzing key themes and trends.- Provide expert advice on interpreting and applying policies and procedures, resolving queries and issues, and escalating complex or contentious matters as necessary.- Manage daily transportation of goods and supplies, following established procedures; review and recommend improvements to ensure timely delivery.- Support production troubleshooting efforts, aiding in the swift and accurate identification, analysis, and resolution of production issues.- Collaborate with other professional teams and across organizational boundaries to ensure cohesive and seamless support for service users.- Develop personal capabilities through participation in assessment and development planning activities, formal and informal training, and coaching; pursue or maintain external professional accreditation, where relevant, to enhance performance and fulfill personal potential.- Stay informed about relevant technology, external regulations, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Level.- Experience sufficient to handle most situations and provide guidance to others.- Basic experience in coordinating the work of others.HOW WILL YOU EXPERIENCE SUCCESS WITH US?Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent LevelExperience enables job holder to deal with the majority of situations and to advise others.#Richemont #WeCraftTheFutureSummaryLocation: NEW YORKType: Full time
