Competitive Compensation Employer funded pension Full benefits Remote Flexibility Job Details Required: Admission to the Illinois state bar and the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. 3+ years of employment litigation experience, including: Defending against discrimination claims under Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, IHRA, IWA, and similar common law claims. Defending against wage and hour and other class action claims under the FLSA, IMWL, IWPCA, and BIPA. Defending and/or prosecuting trade secret violations and breaches of confidentiality, non-compete, and non-solicitation agreements. Experience with motion practice, written discovery, depositions, and summary judgment in state and federal court. Desire to take ownership of assigned cases while working collaboratively with other attorneys. Preferred: Admission to the Trial Bar of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. Trial experience (first or second chair) and/or experience presenting witnesses at trials, hearings, arbitrations, or similar proceedings in employment law matters. Appellate experience in employment law cases, including briefing and/or oral argument. Helpful but not required Portal business. Fluent in Spanish. Interested in hearing more?
