Work Environment\n

As a remote-based position with occasional in-office responsibilities, this role offers flexibility while ensuring that therapists are adequately supported. Our outpatient office provides a collaborative environment where clinical team members engage in case consultations and share resources. Working hours are typically Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasional evening and weekend hours required on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, including the severity, frequency, and duration to tailor interventions effectively.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to offer effective treatment for mood disorders.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care strategies to enhance their understanding and coping skills.

• Regularly monitor and document clients’ progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s treatment are coordinated and comprehensive.

• Stay informed about the latest research and developments in the treatment of mood disorders to continually enhance therapeutic approaches and interventions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards during therapy sessions.

• Participate in professional development opportunities to sharpen clinical skills and stay updated on best practices.

• Act as an advocate for clients, promoting understanding and reducing stigma surrounding mood disorders in the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clinical focus of this position is on individuals experiencing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. You will be instrumental in helping clients achieve better mental health outcomes through effective intervention strategies and ongoing support.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.
\n
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices and treatment modalities for mood disorders.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, facilitating rapport with a diverse range of clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on treating mood disorders.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver successful treatment outcomes using CBT and DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
