Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, allowing you to work in the warm and familiar atmosphere of our patients' homes. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, assessing movement, strength, pain levels, and functional capabilities to determine their rehabilitation needs.
• Establish individualized treatment plans using varied methodologies, which may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and the use of assistive devices.
• Implement and monitor treatment interventions aimed at reducing pain, restoring function, and enhancing mobility.
• Document all treatment protocols, patient progress, and outcomes to effectively communicate developments with the healthcare team.
• Continuously assess and adapt therapeutic goals and treatment plans based on patient progress, providing feedback and encouragement throughout the rehabilitation process.
• Educate patients and their families on appropriate exercise techniques, injury prevention, and the use of assistive devices to promote independent living.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops, conferences, and peer networks to stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients ranging from children to the elderly, all dealing with diverse diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, neurological impairments, and post-operative recovery. You will play a vital role in helping these individuals regain their independence and improve their quality of life through tailored therapy interventions.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required; a Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid State License to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
• Proficient computer skills to manage patient documentation and treatment records.
• A commitment to patient care and a willingness to adapt to the dynamic needs of a home care environment.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple patients concurrently while providing high-quality care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
• Experience in home health care is a plus but not required; we also welcome new graduates who are eager to learn and grow.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
