Work Environment

This position is based in a home care setting, allowing you to work one-on-one with patients in the comfort of their own environments. Our therapists enjoy a schedule that typically runs Monday through Friday, encompassing a standard 40-hour work week. Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patient needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on referrals from physicians, ensuring alignment with each patient's recovery goals.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques in patients' homes, adapting your approach to suit each environment and individual needs.
• Provide education and support to patients and caregivers about treatment plans, exercises, and recovery processes, empowering them in their healing journey.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service by being responsive to patient concerns, enhancing overall patient satisfaction and treatment efficacy.
• Collaborate with fellow clinicians and other healthcare professionals to track patient progress and refine treatment modalities as necessary.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of patient sessions to ensure continuity of care and compliance with healthcare standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The role involves treating diverse patient populations, including individuals requiring orthopedic rehabilitation, pediatric therapy, neurologic recovery, and sports medicine services. You will have the opportunity to work with patients at various stages of recovery, helping them regain strength and mobility through personalized and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) or the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
• Current state license to practice Physical Therapy in New Jersey is required.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association is necessary.
• Proficient in verbal and written communication, with the ability to develop strong relationships with patients and their families.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple patient schedules effectively.

Preferred Experience

• Two (2) years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in home care or community settings.
• Experience working with a diverse range of rehabilitation cases including pediatrics and geriatrics is highly desirable.
• Preference for candidates with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) and those who have experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

Compensation and Benefits
