Work Environment

This position is entirely onsite, requiring you to work closely with patients in their homes. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on each patient's needs, aimed at relieving pain and restoring functionality.
• Conduct thorough evaluations that assess a patient's range of motion, strength, and overall physical capabilities, utilizing diagnostic tests to support treatment decisions.
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants in implementing prescribed treatment plans while maintaining compliance with state regulations.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise instruction, and the use of physical agents such as heat and cold, to optimize recovery.
• Assess the patient's home environment to make recommendations that enhance their safety and independence, ensuring they can effectively manage their rehabilitation.
• Maintain accurate records of patient progress, documenting evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes in compliance with legal standards and company policies.
• Collaborate regularly with interdisciplinary team members to review patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, expectations, and home exercise programs, fostering a supportive environment for recovery.
• Stay current with advancements in physical therapy practices, participating in ongoing education and training opportunities.

Qualifications
