Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule while facilitating impactful interactions with clients through telehealth platforms. Our outpatient office environment fosters collaboration among healthcare professionals while ensuring that our clients receive personalized and accessible care. The regular workweek spans Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, allowing for a structured yet dynamic work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments by meeting with patients to listen to their individual concerns and experiences related to trauma and mental health.

• Utilize diagnostic tools to identify mental or emotional disorders and develop personalized treatment plans with measurable goals.

• Implement evidence-based coping strategies and therapeutic interventions aimed at enhancing patients' resilience and improving their quality of life.

• Continuously monitor patient progress and adapt treatment plans based on individual needs and response to therapy.

• Provide valuable education to both patients and family members regarding trauma-informed care, stress management techniques, and self-care practices.

• Collaborate and coordinate with healthcare providers, social services, and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for patients.

• Engage in professional development by completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and stay updated on best practices in mental health counseling.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with trauma injury patients, many of whom are facing significant emotional challenges that stem from their experiences. We aim to create a safe and empathetic environment, understanding that recovery is a personal journey that requires trust, patience, and tailored support. By addressing their specific needs and goals, you're instrumental in helping them navigate their paths to recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential is mandatory.

• Minimum of three years of hands-on experience working with trauma patients and in clinical settings.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is essential.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience with Salesforce or similar practice management tools is a significant advantage.

• Familiarity with trauma therapy techniques, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

Compensation and Benefits\n
