Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients to understand their unique situations, focusing specifically on their mental health needs and trauma histories.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices to ensure the best outcomes for each client.

• Regularly monitor and assess client progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to address evolving needs.
\n
• Educate and equip clients with effective coping mechanisms to address stress and trauma, facilitating workshops and one-on-one sessions.

• Collaborate with social service agencies, healthcare providers, and community outreach programs to coordinate comprehensive care for clients.

• Complete all required documentation, ensuring accurate and timely records that comply with organizational policies and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by completing continuing education courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with patients who have experienced trauma, including but not limited to victims of abuse, accidents, and other distressing life events. Your expertise will be essential in helping these individuals navigate their emotional responses and work towards a healthier, more fulfilling life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.
\n
• At least 3 years of relevant experience, specifically working with trauma patients.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.

• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with other professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience using Salesforce or other case management tools is a significant advantage.

• A background in leading workshops or support groups focused on trauma recovery is beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
