Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations to assess patient mental health needs, establishing baselines for diagnosis.

• Develop custom treatment plans that address individual patient concerns and incorporate evidence-based strategies.

• Engage actively with patients, providing a listening ear and guidance, facilitating their healing process.

• Educate patients on effective coping strategies for managing stress and trauma symptoms.

• Monitor patient progress throughout the treatment course, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers, social services, and community resources to enhance patient care availability.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest treatment methodologies and continuing education requirements to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically caters to patients recovering from trauma injuries, who may be dealing with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other emotional disturbances associated with their experiences.
