Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct trauma-informed assessments to thoroughly evaluate patients' backgrounds, trauma history, and the complexity of their mental health needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support patients in overcoming their challenges.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on helping patients process their trauma, develop effective coping mechanisms, and foster a healing environment.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies related to trauma, ensuring timely and effective responses.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma-informed settings, is preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
