This position is rooted in an outpatient setting, where you will engage with patients primarily through telehealth platforms, enhancing accessibility for our diverse client base. Our hours of operation are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with a degree of flexibility as may be required to meet patient needs. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments aimed at evaluating patients' trauma histories and crafting effective treatment plans tailored to their needs.

• Develop and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and resilience-building, incorporating therapeutic techniques specific to each patient's circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure a holistic approach to patient care, adjusting treatment methodologies as needed.

• Provide crisis intervention support during trauma-related emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and appropriate care.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping mechanisms, and community resources available to them.

• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems proficiently.

• Engage in ongoing professional development and case consultations, fostering growth in trauma-informed care practices among the team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Must hold a current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, LCMFT, or PsyD in the state of Maryland.

Compensation and Benefits\n
