Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients’ mental health needs, including reviewing medical history, understanding symptoms, and evaluating emotional status.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, facilitating a supportive environment that encourages personal growth and healing.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations and organizational policies.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including social workers, psychiatric professionals, and wellness coaches, to ensure comprehensive care and continuity for clients.

• Engage in ongoing education and professional development to remain informed about the latest mental health best practices and techniques.

As an LMHC with Big Cedar Counseling Services, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health conditions. Our patient population comprises adults and children from varied backgrounds, and we emphasize culturally competent care, recognizing and valuing the unique experiences each individual brings to the therapeutic relationship.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field is required; however, a Master’s degree is preferred and will support a robust therapeutic framework.

• An active license as a Mental Health Counselor in Washington State is mandatory.
\n
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing mental health counseling, showcasing a solid foundation in therapeutic modalities and client-centered care.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience with evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care methodologies is preferred.
