Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' mental health status, specifically focusing on mood disorders such as depression and anxiety, in conjunction with their treatment for substance use disorders.

• Work collaboratively with clients to develop tailored treatment plans that consider their unique experiences, preferences, and recovery goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster emotional regulation and coping skills.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families regarding mood disorders and substance use, outlining treatment paths and self-care strategies.

• Track clients' progress and modify treatment plans as necessary to reflect changes in their mental health status and recovery journey.

• Partner closely with psychiatrists and medical staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to client care, including any pharmacological interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
