Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories and identify their specific needs.

• Develop tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Provide individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing trauma, enhancing coping strategies, and promoting emotional healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated care, ensuring holistic support for every patient.
\n
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to help stabilize clients.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available resources for additional support.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to comprehensive patient records.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities focused on trauma-informed care practices.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role will involve working with a diverse patient population, including individuals and couples dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. We aim to create a safe and supportive atmosphere where clients feel understood, empowered, and equipped to embark on their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• Possession of a current and valid LPC license in the state of Oregon.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with an empathetic, non-judgmental approach to client care.

• Ability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, ensuring a calm and professional demeanor throughout client interactions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications for documentation and patient management.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience, particularly with trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Familiarity with trauma-focused therapies and evidence-based interventions.

• A desire to work with couples, with training provided.

• A proactive approach to management of caseload and documentation, with a commitment to completing notes within 24 hours.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this role ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience. Additionally, Insight Therapy offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
