Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to develop customized treatment plans for each client.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, and families, utilizing modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and case notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care and participate in client care discussions.

• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to remain current on the latest mental health research and best practices.

• Manage and prioritize your caseload effectively to meet the varying needs of clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client base, addressing various mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, substance abuse, trauma, and relationship issues. We particularly focus on serving individuals with limited access to care, ensuring equitable support and effective therapeutic services for all members of our community.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a counseling role, ideally within a clinical environment.
