Work Environment\n

The work setting for this role is entirely remote, offering the convenience of a home office while ensuring that our clinicians remain connected with a dynamic team of mental health professionals. Our outpatient office model allows for flexibility in therapy sessions, supporting both telehealth appointments and in-person options when needed. You will be equipped with up-to-date technology and access to electronic health record systems to streamline documentation and client management.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose mental health conditions in clients and develop tailored treatment plans accordingly.

• Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week (for full-time status) while providing thoughtful and individualized therapy.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with case managers, families, medical personnel, and school staff to coordinate quality care for clients.
\n
• Utilize creativity and evidence-based interventions to empower clients to achieve and surpass their therapeutic goals.
\n
• Accurately document all clinical interactions, including assessments, treatment plans, and case notes, adhering to established company policies and compliance standards.

• Participate actively in clinical staff meetings, contributing to team discussions and ongoing trainings to enhance practice and care delivery.

• Foster a positive and inclusive team culture that supports professional development and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse caseload, primarily focusing on children, adolescents, and families facing various mental health challenges. Our approach is holistic, embracing the unique stories and backgrounds of clients, especially those from BIPOC, LGBTQ, and bilingual communities. Your role as an LMFT will be pivotal in making therapy accessible and enjoyable while promoting meaningful change in their lives.

Qualifications\n

• A master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited institution is mandatory.

• Active LMFT license for clinical practice in California.
\n
• Proven experience in completing clinical documentation, such as assessments, treatment plans, and case notes as per regulatory requirements.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills necessary for effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
\n
• Ability to manage and submit documentation related to services promptly and accurately.
\n
• Exhibit stable and professional boundaries with clients, fostering a safe therapeutic environment.

• Experience working with a culturally diverse clientele is preferred.
\n
• Proficiency in Office 365 and familiarity with Electronic Health Record systems; experience with Valant is a plus.

• Successful completion of a background check is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, familiarity with telehealth practices and having a flexible approach to therapy are highly valued.
