Work Environment

This position is based in our outpatient physical therapy office, providing a dynamic and team-oriented environment where professionals work closely together to foster patient recovery. The office operates Monday through Friday, with flexible weekend hours available based on patient needs, for a total of 40 hours each week. Our facility is equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation tools and resources that support innovative treatment approaches. You will work alongside a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, occupational therapists, and support staff, to optimize patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and evaluations to identify functional limitations and needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans focused on improving patients' mobility and overall health.
• Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, and patient progress in compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
• Teach patients and their families about strategies for self-care and rehabilitation exercises to ensure continuity of care after discharge.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic patient care, providing consultations as necessary.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and quality improvement programs to enhance the visibility and effectiveness of our practice.
• Manage and mentor support staff, including physical therapy assistants and aides, by providing guidance and training to ensure high care standards.
• Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in physical therapy.

Our outpatient facility serves a wide range of patients requiring rehabilitation for various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and neurological disorders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• A valid state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.

• Proficiency in basic computer skills, including word processing and electronic medical records.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy setting is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems and rehabilitation technology is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits
