This position is remote, allowing you to manage your workload from the comfort of your home while primarily working with school-aged children and adolescents. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will be responsible for a variety of clinical tasks, including:

• Conducting thorough mental health evaluations and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs.

• Providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, addressing issues ranging from anxiety and depression to behavioral concerns.

• Documenting assessments and progress notes electronically to maintain accurate and timely records of each client’s progress and needs.

• Performing suicide risk assessments to ensure the safety and well-being of students, and appropriately escalating concerns to relevant professionals when necessary.

• Assisting students and families in navigating community resources, including educational support services, crisis intervention programs, and medication assistance initiatives.

• Collaborating with educational staff and mental health teams to inform and adapt strategies that enhance student well-being and address any barriers to learning.

• Participating in Quality Improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service delivery and client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and adolescents, providing culturally relevant and age-appropriate interventions. You will work with a diverse client base, adapting your approach to meet the unique needs of each student, whether they are facing academic pressures, emotional distress, or family issues.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New York.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
\n
• A minimum of three years of post-licensure clinical experience, particularly within educational or community-based settings.

• In-depth knowledge of therapeutic modalities, crisis intervention strategies, and the ability to make independent clinical decisions.

Preferred Experience\n

Preferred candidates will have additional strengths in:

Compensation and Benefits\n
