Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Valid licensure as an Occupational Therapist in New Jersey
• Experience providing OT services in a school setting is preferred
• Comprehensive knowledge of assessments, IEPs, and therapeutic interventions
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with students, families, and school staff
• Adaptable, patient, and passionate about supporting children with diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct occupational therapy evaluations to identify student needs and document progress clearly
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans and goals in alignment with IEP teams
• Deliver direct and consultative therapy, both individually and in small groups, within the school environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes according to district and legal requirements
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student success and participation in the classroom
• Provide recommendations for classroom modifications and adaptive equipment as necessary
