Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Queen Tower Recovery Center, you will be working onsite in a collaborative environment alongside two other PTs and one Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA). Our facility is equipped with the latest therapeutic technologies and resources, providing an enriching atmosphere conducive to patient success and professional growth. The center maintains a Monday to Friday work schedule, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs, objectives, and treatment goals.
• Efficiently manage a caseload of one patient per hour, delivering high-quality care.
• Design and implement tailored treatment plans using an array of modalities and therapeutic techniques.
• Employ manual therapy techniques to enhance patient recovery and mobility.
• Empower patients by motivating them throughout their rehabilitation process, supporting them in achieving maximum functional abilities.
• Assess and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain clear and thorough documentation of services rendered and patient communication.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Promote health-conscious lifestyles through individualized fitness and wellness program development.
• Help minimize reliance on medications and provide non-surgical alternatives when appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions, including post-surgical care, sports injuries, and rehabilitation from musculoskeletal disorders. We focus on delivering tailored interventions that address diverse issues, thereby enhancing our clients' independence and functional capacity.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of California.
• A clean practice history, free from any board actions or disciplinary measures.
• Demonstrated knowledge and application of manual therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in developing and implementing exercise programs specific to patient needs.
• Experience and comfort in utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) software platforms, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

Candidates with prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting are highly desirable. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation techniques and a solid understanding of patient-centered care principles will enhance your effectiveness in this role.

Compensation and Benefits
