This position allows you to work from home while also requiring occasional visits to our outpatient office in Henderson, Nevada. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the intensity and frequency of clients' mood disorder symptoms, ensuring that a comprehensive understanding of their needs is developed.

• Work collaboratively with clients to create individualized treatment plans that align with their specific goals, preferences, and therapeutic needs.

• Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective interventions tailored to each client's circumstances.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, available treatment options, and self-care strategies, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journey.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making timely updates to treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring that all aspects of a client’s mental and physical health are addressed.

• Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment, integrating new knowledge into practice to enhance therapeutic effectiveness.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, contributing to the continuity of care.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enrich clinical skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients’ needs, pushing back against mental health stigmatization and ensuring equitable access to resources and support.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will be primarily working with clients experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our client base may also include individuals facing significant life challenges, such as homelessness, refugee status, or domestic abuse. Your expertise will not only assist clients in managing their symptoms but also help to empower them to improve their overall quality of life.

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy is necessary for this role.
