Lead Formulation Technician (12hr nights, 2-2-3 rotation)

Lead Formulation Technician role in sterile pharmaceutical manufacturing at Thermo Fisher Scientific's Greenville facility. Oversee complex formulations and automated filling equipment while mentoring team members on night shift (6pm-6am, 2-2-3 rotation). Drive process improvements and maintain quality standards for injectable drug products.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of complex formulations and oversee automated filling equipment operation
• Mentor and train team members on formulation procedures, equipment setup, and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production processes and implement improvements
• Ensure adherence to precise quality specifications and GMP standards

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum three years pharmaceutical or sterile manufacturing experience; four years preferred
• Hands-on aseptic or sterile product formulation experience
• Strong technical expertise in formulation and sterile filling processes
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring ability
• SAP or manufacturing systems experience strongly preferred
