Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, develop clinical diagnoses, and establish individualized treatment plans that address their specific goals and challenges.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities in individual, family, and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches based on clients' diverse backgrounds and needs.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and empathetic support during acute mental health emergencies, ensuring clients feel safe and understood.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and assessments in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations.

• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, communicating regularly with psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care tailored to the client’s needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Brain Builders Counseling Center, your primary focus will be individuals across various demographics who are facing mental health challenges. You will work with clients from different cultural backgrounds, ages, and life experiences, providing support for issues ranging from anxiety and depression to more complex disorders such as PTSD or couple's relational challenges. The Center emphasizes a family-oriented approach, ensuring a strong support system for clients by involving family members when appropriate.

Qualifications\n

• Possession of a valid license as a Mental Health Therapist, including LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related field is required.

• Strong clinical assessment skills with the ability to effectively diagnose and understand a range of mental health disorders.

• A minimum of two years of related experience in a clinical setting, demonstrating practical skills in providing therapy.
