Work Environment\n

This position allows for remote work, providing flexibility and accommodating work-life balance while remaining connected to our supportive outpatient practice. Though the work is primarily remote, you will be expected to collaborate effectively with our interdisciplinary team through virtual meetings, ensuring seamless communication and coordination of care. The regular hours are from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm, with some evening hours required on a rotating basis to accommodate client appointments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and comprehensive client assessments to evaluate mental health and substance use challenges, identifying co-occurring disorders and establishing a baseline for treatment.

• Collaborate with clients in developing personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions tailored to their unique needs, including reflective discussions on motivation and readiness for change.

• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at enhancing coping mechanisms, developing relapse prevention strategies, and fostering emotional regulation skills.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Minnesota board licensure as an LIMFT, LCMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C .

• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, particularly those designed for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment and Motivational Interviewing.

• A profound understanding of the relationship between mental health and substance use disorders and the willingness to learn new therapeutic techniques.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively in an interdisciplinary team setting.
