In this role, you will primarily work remotely, allowing for flexibility and a healthy work-life balance. While the majority of your work will be accomplished remotely, occasional in-person meetings and training sessions at our community health clinic may be required. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of patients, tailoring individualized treatment plans based on their unique circumstances.

• Provide short-term individual counseling, crisis intervention services, and support to patients facing a variety of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to severe psychological disorders.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops that target relevant themes such as stress management, coping strategies, and personal development, empowering patients to build resilience.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including medical doctors, nurses, and other healthcare providers, to ensure integrated care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.

• Engage in outreach initiatives aimed at enhancing community awareness of mental health issues, including leading wellness events and educational campaigns.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and timely documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record systems to enhance patient care delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals from diverse backgrounds facing a broad spectrum of mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.

• A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is necessary; however, consideration will be given to Master's or doctoral degrees.

• Strong understanding of mental health issues experienced by hospital patients and the ability to tailor treatment approaches accordingly.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with the ability to engage effectively with patients and interdisciplinary staff.

• A solid grounding in evidence-based practices and skills in brief therapy models suited for a counseling center within a community setting.

• The capacity to function effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage a diverse caseload, prioritize tasks, and respond to the needs of patients efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least three years of relevant clinical experience, preferably within hospital or community health settings.

• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with cultural competence principles in mental health care.
