Key Responsibilities

• Assist licensed Physical Therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans aimed at enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall functionality.
• Conduct hands-on therapeutic exercises with patients, guiding them through stretching routines and specialized activities designed to promote physical wellness.
• Educate patients on best practices for body mechanics, exercise techniques, and home exercise programs to aid in their recovery journey.
• Administer therapeutic modalities, including electrical stimulation, ultrasound, and heat/cold therapy, under the supervision of a Physical Therapist.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, tracking improvements in range of motion, strength levels, and functional capabilities.
• Ensure treatment areas are well-prepared and organized, keeping equipment and supplies readily accessible for efficient therapy sessions.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team to ensure coordinated patient care and optimal therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide emotional support and motivation to patients, maintaining a positive atmosphere that encourages progress.
• Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring patient confidentiality and the respect of their rights and privacy throughout the care process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field, demonstrating a strong foundation in anatomy, physiology, and therapeutic interventions applicable to physical therapy.
• A valid state license as a Physical Therapist Assistant.

Compensation and Benefits
