Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct regular sessions with clients to identify their mental health needs and collaboratively set treatment goals.

• Provide evidence-based counseling to promote mental health awareness and preventative strategies.

• Develop, implement, and regularly review comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each client's unique situation.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and session notes in our electronic health record system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse client population, including adults and adolescents facing various challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and other behavioral health issues. Understanding the unique needs of each client is essential for providing quality care and fostering positive outcomes.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and full licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• A minimum of one year of experience in mental health counseling or a related field.

• Familiarity with community mental health resources to facilitate referrals and connections for clients.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and colleagues.

• Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive attitude in a team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Previous exposure to outpatient therapy, as well as experience utilizing electronic medical records systems, is highly desirable. Comfort with telehealth technology will also be an advantage as we strive to provide seamless services to our clients remotely. Training in modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar approaches is advantageous.
