Work Environment\n

This role is fully remote, which allows you to conduct assessments, consultations, and therapy from the comfort of your own home while still engaging with children and families through virtual platforms. Collaboration with educational staff and other healthcare professionals occurs regularly to ensure that each child receives comprehensive support tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments for children in need of early intervention services.
\n
• Engage actively in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs), ensuring alignment with each child's developmental goals.
\n
• Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching methods to work collaboratively with families, facilitating a robust support system for child development.
\n
• Monitor and document outcomes, adjusting interventions as needed to maximize effectiveness.
\n
• Provide family support and guidance regarding child development, resources, and community services.
\n
• Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations concerning child welfare and social work practices.
\n
• Develop strong rapport with children, families, and interdisciplinary team members to foster a nurturing and supportive environment conducive to learning and growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily focuses on children, especially those aged 0-3, who may be experiencing developmental delays or disabilities. The LCSW will partner closely with families to provide individualized support that addresses the unique challenges these children face, enhancing their opportunities for growth in emotional, cognitive, and social domains.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure by the Department of Public Health, with LCSW credentials required.

• A valid driver’s license is necessary for traveling to clients when needed.
\n
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning styles in order to effectively support each child's individualized treatment plan.

• Strong understanding of developmental milestones and early intervention strategies.

Preferred Experience\n
