Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments and diagnoses, when needed, using the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) to create individualized treatment plans that reflect cultural diversity and specific patient needs.

• Monitor and evaluate patients' progress systematically, utilizing evidence-based interventions to address their mental health diagnosis effectively.
\n
• Maintain accurate, timely records of all clinical documentation and treatment plans in accordance with regulatory guidelines and organizational policies.
\n
• Collaborate with patients and their families to develop comprehensive treatment strategies, ensuring that goals are clear and agreed upon.
\n
• Anticipate areas of patient intervention necessary for safety and symptom reduction, while actively participating in multidisciplinary team discussions to enhance overall patient outcomes.

• Coordinate with other healthcare providers and referral agencies to create a robust support network for patients, fostering effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration.

• Provide education and mentorship to interns, students, and volunteers, supporting their professional development and fostering a culture of learning within the organization.

• Engage in peer-to-peer review and chart auditing when directed by clinical supervisors, contributing to the continuous improvement of team practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves patients and their families dealing with the challenges that arise from cancer diagnoses. The patients may experience a range of emotional and psychological difficulties, including anxiety, depression, and adjustment disorders, requiring empathetic and culturally competent care.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Tennessee.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 to 105,000 annually, along with a sign-on bonus for qualifying candidates.
