Payroll Coordinator

Payroll Coordinator Our client is seeking a Payroll Coordinator to support the Payroll Department with employee data, payroll processing, reporting, and employee inquiries. This position will also serve as a backup to the Payroll Specialist and assist with U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll. Responsibilities include entering new hires and employee changes into payroll, timekeeping, expense management, and other systems. The Payroll Coordinator will review timesheets and assist with identifying and resolving payroll discrepancies. They will serve as backup to the Payroll Specialist and assist with U.S., Canadian, and U.K. payroll processing. Additionally, they will assist with benefit vendor file feeds and ensure accurate payroll deductions, process unemployment notices, tax withholding, child support orders, and other garnishments. The Payroll Coordinator will prepare and distribute monthly payroll reports to Finance, Human Resources, and department leaders. They will respond to employee payroll questions and resolve issues in a timely manner, and support the corporate credit card program and assist with employee setup and issue resolution in Concur. Qualifications include 1-3 years of payroll experience preferred; a combination of education and experience will be considered. General knowledge of multi-state payroll, employment regulations, and income tax laws is required. ADP Workforce Now experience is a plus. Strong Microsoft Office and computer skills are necessary, as well as excellent organizational and time management skills. Strong data entry skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are also required.
