Work Environment\n

This role is primarily remote, allowing for flexibility while maintaining a strong team culture. Our therapists enjoy a well-supported work environment with furnished office space available in our hospice center as needed. We use a modern Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system to manage client information efficiently, ensuring a seamless workflow. We also utilize a billing service that handles claims and financial interactions, allowing you to focus on providing care without the distraction of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide professional individual and couples therapy sessions via telehealth platforms, focusing on a range of complex emotional and psychological needs typical in a hospice setting.

• Maintain comprehensive case notes and record-keeping for all clients to ensure continuity of care, confidentiality, and compliance.
\n
• Develop individualized treatment plans and establish goals in collaboration with clients to guide their therapeutic journey.
\n
• Schedule and manage ongoing client appointments, adjusting availability to accommodate their needs, including evening sessions as required.
\n
• Address a variety of clinical presentations, adjusting therapy techniques to meet the specific emotional and psychological challenges faced by clients and their families.

• Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals in the hospice setting to ensure holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will involve working with clients of all age groups who are dealing with end-of-life issues, grief, and loss. As an LCSW, you will provide crucial emotional support to help families navigate complex feelings during this sensitive time, emphasizing empowerment and resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Must possess independent licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.

• Demonstrated professionalism, strong therapeutic boundaries, cultural competency, self-motivation, and organizational skills.

• Availability to work a minimum of 20-25 hours per week, with two evenings per week scheduled for client meetings.

• Experience in a hospice or palliative care environment is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. As a full-time W2 employee, you will also receive a sign-on bonus, health insurance, and the freedom to create your own hybrid work schedule. Additional benefits include:
