Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying specific emotional and psychological needs.

• Provide individual counseling tailored to address emotional challenges resulting from aging, loss, and significant life transitions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to foster peer support and communal healing among clients experiencing similar challenges.

• Offer grief counseling that assists clients and their families in coping with end-of-life issues, thereby promoting closure and healing.

• Educate and collaborate with family members and staff on effective strategies to enhance the emotional well-being and quality of life for seniors.

• Document progress notes, treatment plans, and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements, ensuring a high standard of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with an aging clientele, which may include seniors dealing with the effects of chronic illness, loss of loved ones, and significant life changes. You will engage in empathetic and culturally competent care, ensuring that each client feels respected and understood. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Counseling Psychology, Clinical Psychology, or a related field.

• License eligibility by the State of Massachusetts, including LMHC licensure.

• A current, valid driver’s license in good standing.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 to 100,000 annually, with the potential for a sign-on bonus. In addition, our compensation package includes:
