Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver tailored mindfulness-based interventions, including Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), to clients seeking to overcome stressors and enhance their emotional well-being.

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to identify individual client challenges, stressors, and therapeutic goals, adjusting mindfulness practices to fit their unique needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation sessions, and effective breathing techniques aimed at improving self-awareness and emotional regulation.
\n
• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes that focus on mindfulness strategies, stress management, and resilience-building techniques.

• Integrate mindfulness practices into individual therapy sessions, addressing specific mental health concerns while promoting overall personal growth.

• Collaborate with a network of therapists and healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to client treatment, enhancing the effectiveness of integrated care.

• Maintain thorough documentation of client interactions, progress, mindfulness interventions, and treatment plans to track growth and tailor future sessions.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development to deepen expertise in MBSR and related methods.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a diverse client population in need of mental health support through telehealth. Clients include individuals facing various challenges such as anxiety disorders, stress-related issues, depression, and those seeking personal development through mindfulness practices. Your work will directly contribute to improving their mental health outcomes and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Proficient understanding of mindfulness practices and their application within therapeutic interventions.

• Exceptional communication skills and the ability to create a calm, supportive atmosphere that encourages client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
