Key Responsibilities\n

• Collaboration and Communication: Actively participate in treatment-planning meetings, providing and receiving constructive feedback on patient progress and discussing any resistance encountered during therapy sessions.

• Conflict Resolution: Identify and address resistance and conflicts that arise in interactions with clients, families, healthcare team members, and community representatives, employing appropriate interventions to reduce tension and promote positive outcomes.

• Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate patient records, documenting assessments, treatment plans, interventions, family involvement, and communications with external agencies per legal and ethical standards.

• Assessment and Planning: Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments of patients and their families, gathering pertinent data to create individualized treatment plans that reflect their unique strengths, needs, and cultural values.

• Therapeutic Support: Facilitate educational and therapeutic groups, assessing patient responses and documenting their progress towards established goals in therapeutic activities.

• Behavioral Interventions: Apply principles of behavior modification, assertiveness training, and supportive therapy techniques to effectively support clients through their recovery journeys.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The LCSW will primarily work with individuals in detoxification stages of recovery, focusing on addressing the multifaceted challenges of substance use disorders. This includes working closely with both patients and their families to navigate the emotional and psychological demands of treatment. A deep understanding of human growth and development is essential, particularly in adapting interventions based on the developmental tasks relevant to different age groups.

Qualifications\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually for this full-time position.
