Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of students to identify their emotional, social, and academic needs, laying the groundwork for personalized treatment plans.

• Provide therapeutic interventions utilizing evidence-based practices, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other modalities, customized to individual clients.

• Engage with families and educational staff to coordinate care and ensure a supportive environment for students' mental health goals.

• Deliver crisis intervention services when necessary, utilizing de-escalation techniques and appropriate referral processes to manage acute situations effectively.

• Maintain up-to-date and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies, ensuring that all records reflect the progress and needs of each client.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker will primarily serve students across various grade levels, from elementary through high school, who may be experiencing a range of emotional challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. By directly addressing these issues, you will help students navigate their educational environments while also advocating for their mental health needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field is required.

• An active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license from the state of California is mandatory.

• A minimum of two years of clinical social work experience, preferably in a school or child-focused setting, is essential.

• Exceptional documentation skills, organizational abilities, and proficiency in managing client cases in a timely manner.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

Compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and qualifications.
