The position is fully remote, providing flexibility while ensuring our clients receive the integrated care they need. Our standard working hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, with occasional evening hours based on client appointments. This schedule allows for work-life balance while meeting the rigorous demands of our clients’ needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth assessments to evaluate the mental health and substance use concerns of clients, identifying co-occurring disorders that may require specialized intervention.

• Collaborate with clients to construct individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions addressing both mental health and substance use issues.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with coping mechanisms, relapse prevention strategies, and techniques for emotional regulation.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Cure Tablet, you will primarily work with adults facing the complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Proficiency in evidence-based therapies, particularly Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Deep understanding of the interactions between mental health and substance use disorders, along with the skills necessary to address these in a therapeutic context.

• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills, with a willingness to work collaboratively across a diverse team of professionals.
