Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health using standardized tools and clinical interviews to formulate accurate diagnoses and tailored treatment plans.

• Deliver individual and group therapy interventions, implementing evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to address specific client issues.

• Actively engage in crisis intervention during moments of acute distress, applying de-escalation strategies and support to ensure client safety.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, including treatment notes, diagnostic assessments, and progress reports, adhering to HIPAA regulations and ethical guidelines.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to create comprehensive care plans that address the multifaceted needs of clients.

• Educate clients and their support systems about mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and navigate available community resources to enhance their treatment experience.

• Participate in regular training, workshops, and continuing education activities to remain current with best practices and advancements in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist at Caring Companions, you will work primarily with adult clients seeking support for an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our diverse client base represents various backgrounds and life situations, and you will play a significant role in fostering an inclusive and supportive therapeutic environment.

Qualifications\n

• Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, or LCSW) in the state of Arizona.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required; a Master’s or Doctoral degree is preferred.

• At least two years of direct clinical experience in a mental health setting is essential for this role.

• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical assessment, diagnosis, and effective treatment planning.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong ability to engage and connect with diverse client populations.

• A solid commitment to maintaining professional integrity and ethical standards in all therapy practices.

• Ability to work autonomously while being an active collaborator with team members.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience delivering therapy in a virtual format is highly desirable, particularly using telehealth technologies.

• Previous background in a community health clinic setting is advantageous but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges between USD 85,000 and 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
