Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations and crisis interventions to assess patient needs efficiently.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and other healthcare professionals.
\n
• Coordinate care with Reentry Social Workers to facilitate effective discharge planning services, ensuring a smooth transition for clients.
\n
• Complete all necessary documentation, including clinical notes and statistical reports, in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
\n
• Participate actively in mental health and medical rounds, providing insights and updates on client progress during team meetings.
\n
• Lead and facilitate group therapy sessions focused on mental health issues, using evidence-based practices to guide discussions and interventions.
\n
• Engage with the Department of Corrections to ensure that clients receive appropriate housing, treatment, and access to necessary resources.
\n
• Supervise social work interns or student volunteers, providing guidance and educational support as they gain practical experience.
\n
• Participate in case conferences to discuss treatment planning for clients currently receiving mental health treatment or being evaluated for such services.
\n
• May conduct psychological testing as required, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of clients’ needs.

This position primarily focuses on working with children and adolescents affected by substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. Qualifications\n

• Master’s or Doctorate degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related mental health discipline.

• Must be independently licensed as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This exciting position offers a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $122,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
