Work Environment\n

This remote position empowers you to work from home while primarily interacting through virtual means with clients at our detox center. While regular working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, some flexibility may be required for evening or weekend hours based on client needs. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will collaborate with healthcare providers and carry out visits as necessary to ensure a continuum of care. Your ability to adapt to varying schedules and respond to urgent situations is essential for providing effective support to clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

In this role, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to identify the emotional, mental, and social needs of clients undergoing detox.

• Develop personalized care plans, in partnership with clients and their families, tailored to their recovery goals and support needs.

• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, offering emotional support and coping strategies for individuals facing addiction challenges.
\n
• Advocate for clients’ rights, ensuring they have access to community resources that support their treatment and recovery.
\n
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including nurses and addiction specialists, to ensure cohesive care delivery.
\n
• Monitor clients’ progress through regular virtual visits and adjust care plans as needed to reflect evolving needs.
\n
• Assist in conflict resolution among family members regarding the care and support of the client.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about recovery resources, support networks, and strategies to maintain long-term sobriety.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of each client's care, following ethical and legal standards.

• Stay current on social work practices and policies relevant to addiction treatment and detox care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).

• Thorough understanding of the challenges related to addiction and recovery, as well as community resources available to support clients.

• Exceptional assessment, counseling, and interpersonal skills necessary for effective client engagement.

Preferred Experience\n

Experience working within a detox or substance abuse treatment facility is highly preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based practices for addiction recovery is advantageous. Compensation and Benefits\n
