This role is primarily remote, allowing you to provide therapy sessions via telehealth platforms. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments to analyze clients’ mental health status and establish therapeutic goals.

• Create and implement personalized treatment plans, incorporating evidence-based methodologies tailored to client needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally sensitive and responsive techniques to accommodate diverse client backgrounds.

• Regularly monitor client progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring the best outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and social workers, to provide comprehensive care and referrals as needed.

• Document client sessions meticulously in our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain accurate treatment histories and compliance.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Journey Psychotherapy Center, you will work with a diverse range of clients who present with varying mental health concerns, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. You will play a critical role in providing a continuum of care that respects cultural nuances and promotes healing for each individual you serve.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
\n
• Possession of a current and valid license as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
\n
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience with a demonstrated ability to manage a diverse caseload.
\n
• Deep knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
\n
• Strong crisis intervention skills and calmness under pressure while managing complex client situations.
\n
• Competence in using EHR systems and proficiency in managing digital tools for effective therapy delivery.

• Experience working in a telehealth capacity is highly advantageous.

• Familiarity with culturally responsive therapy practices and techniques.

• Experience in both individual and group therapy settings is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n
