Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct trauma-informed mental health assessments that explore and evaluate patients' trauma histories, facilitating the development of personalized treatment strategies. \n
- Design and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery, emphasizing resilience-building techniques tailored to each patient's unique needs. \n
- Utilize evidence-based therapeutic models, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to deliver effective interventions. \n
- Lead both individual and group therapy sessions that encourage patients to process trauma experiences while cultivating coping strategies and personal growth. \n
- Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure integrated and holistic care for patients, facilitating an interdisciplinary approach. \n
- Provide immediate support and crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, helping patients navigate acute challenges effectively. \n
- Educate patients and their families about trauma-related responses, available resources, and effective coping mechanisms to promote understanding and recovery. \n
- Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with established legal and ethical standards, ensuring the integrity of patient records. \n
- Engage in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional training sessions focused on trauma-informed care practices. \n
- Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in trauma therapy to continuously enhance therapeutic practices. \n
In this role, you will be dedicated to working with a diverse patient population, primarily focusing on individuals grappling with the effects of trauma, including post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will leverage your expertise to facilitate transformative healing experiences that empower patients to reclaim their lives and foster resilience within their communities.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution. \n
- Valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California. \n
- A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed approaches to therapy. \n
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster a non-judgmental and supportive therapeutic alliance. \n
- Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring efficient documentation and patient management. \n
- A collaborative spirit and the capacity to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment. \n
We encourage applicants with at least two years of post-licensure experience in delivering trauma-focused therapies and interventions to apply. A solid background in various therapeutic models specific to trauma treatment will enhance your contributions to our center and improve patient outcomes.
Compensation and Benefits\nThe compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
