Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at our facility, you will take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and creating tailored treatment plans that include therapeutic exercises and modalities.
• Instruction on the correct use of therapeutic techniques to enhance patient independence and recovery.
• Administering manual therapies, including massage and mobilization, to facilitate healing and improve mobility.
• Guiding patients in the effective use of assistive devices, such as wheelchairs or walkers, to enhance their daily function.
• Documenting treatment plans, progress notes, and patient outcomes to maintain accurate records of care.
• Providing education and advisement on in-home exercises and rehabilitation techniques to patients and their families.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• A valid state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.

Preferred Experience
