Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical function and identify impairments or disabilities in line with physician referrals.

• Develop and implement customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions designed to meet the specific needs and goals of each patient.

• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient care, including evaluations, treatment notes, and progress updates, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and payment reimbursement.

• Oversee and mentor Physical Therapy Assistants (PTAs) and support personnel, facilitating effective teamwork to achieve patient-focused outcomes.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration by communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to optimize patient care strategies and interventions.

• Monitor and evaluate patient progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting care plans as necessary based on clinical findings and patient feedback.

• Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and developments, participating in professional development opportunities and contributing to a culture of learning within the organization.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will primarily encompass outpatient individuals ranging from young athletes to seniors recovering from surgeries, with various orthopedic and neurological conditions. Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.

• Current physical therapist licensure in Virginia.

• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of experience in a physical therapy setting, particularly in outpatient care, is highly preferred.

• Experience handling a diverse patient population, along with proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems for documentation.
