Work Environment

You will work onsite in a modern rehabilitation center equipped with advanced tools and technology, providing a collaborative and dynamic atmosphere. Operating hours are from 9 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, offering a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical statuses and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to address their specific goals and limitations.
• Deliver hands-on care and therapeutic interventions, utilizing your expertise in orthopedic outpatient care.
• Maintain a manageable patient load, ensuring each client receives focused, high-quality attention to maximize recovery.
• Educate patients about their treatment options and promote non-surgical alternatives to limit reliance on pharmaceuticals.
• Incorporate a variety of treatment modalities and innovative fitness programming to optimize patient mobility and function.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Web PT, facilitating effective communication with healthcare team members.
• Encourage and motivate patients throughout their therapeutic journey, fostering a positive mindset and promoting a long-term commitment to health.

As a Physical Therapist at Joint Revival, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your role will directly impact their rehabilitation journey, as you help them achieve functional independence and strive for an active lifestyle.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, demonstrating a solid foundation in advanced physical therapy practices.
• An active Physical Therapist license in Virginia, with a clean record and no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Exceptional proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong ability to design and implement successful exercise programs tailored to patients' needs.
• Proficiency in using EMR software for effective documentation and patient management.
• In-depth knowledge of current physical therapy techniques, supported by relevant research and continuous professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinic setting is highly beneficial, particularly with a focus on sports medicine or rehabilitation.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
