Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with functional limitations, crafting personalized treatment plans to address their specific needs.
• Implement and supervise therapeutic interventions, including exercise regimens and manual therapy techniques, to enhance patients' mobility and reduce pain.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient treatments, treatment plans, and discharge reports in compliance with legal standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to discuss patient progress and necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
• Educate patients and their families regarding treatment approaches and home exercises, ensuring they understand their roles in the recovery process.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to promote awareness and accessibility of physical therapy services.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, providing guidance and promoting effective team dynamics.
• Continuously work on self-improvement through involvement in ongoing training, staff meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Conduent, you will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from surgical procedures, those with chronic pain conditions, and patients managing injuries from sports or daily activities. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is mandatory.
• Current state license to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Compensation and Benefits
