Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct supportive individual therapy sessions, ensuring a therapeutic alliance with clients to facilitate healing and growth.

• Implement patient-centered treatment plans by observing, recording, and analyzing patients' progress and behaviors.

• Orient clients and their families to our services, providing information and resources to enhance their understanding and comfort level.

• Assist clients with personal needs, offering empathetic support during difficult moments, and adapting approaches as needed.

• Document progress notes by the end of each session in compliance with departmental standards, ensuring clarity and accuracy in patient records.

• Advocate for necessary resources and services for clients, engaging in crisis management and intervention as warranted by client behaviors.

• Maintain knowledge of treatment goals for all assigned clients, regularly evaluating progress and adjusting treatment as necessary.

• Utilize strong time management skills to prioritize daily responsibilities, ensuring timely intervention and follow-up with patients.

• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide well-rounded care, sharing insights and updates about clients' progress and challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily work with a diverse population that includes individuals of all ages, couples, and families facing various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and more. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Current licensure as an LPCC, LCSW, LMFT, or PsyD in the state of California is mandatory.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience with demonstrated expertise in individual and family therapy.

• Proficient knowledge of DSM-5 for accurate diagnosis and treatment planning.
