Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of orthopedic conditions, ensuring alignment with physicians' prescriptions.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and state-of-the-art modalities to relieve pain, restore function, and enhance mobility.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical abilities through diagnostic and prognostic testing, including muscle strength, joint function, and mobility.
• Supervise and provide guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants, ensuring adherence to best practices in the implementation of therapeutic activities.
• Maintain meticulous clinical records and documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, while adhering to regulatory standards.
• Communicate regularly with patients and their families regarding treatment goals, progress, and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team through case conferences to ensure cohesive and effective treatment planning.
• Evaluate patients' home environments and recommend modifications that promote independence and safety during rehabilitation.
• Stay abreast of advancements in physical therapy and orthopedic care through ongoing education and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work primarily with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A current, valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
