Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Orthopedic Physical Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

• Directing and implementing tailored physical therapy treatments aimed at preventing disability, alleviating pain, enhancing muscle strength, and ensuring maximum functional performance.
• Overseeing the work of Physical Therapy Assistants to ensure adherence to the individualized treatment plans and standards of care.
• Conducting thorough evaluations of clients' physical capabilities and developing optimized rehabilitation strategies based on their needs.
• Assessing home environments to identify and recommend modifications that promote client independence and safety.
• Delivering prescribed physical therapy services, which may include manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and the use of physical agents for relief.
• Using your expertise to advise clients and families on the effective use of physical therapy devices and encouraging adherence to prescribed therapy programs.
• Maintaining detailed clinical documentation, including initial evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries, in compliance with organizational standards.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on care strategies and outcome evaluations critically.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.

• Current CPR certification and valid driver's license with automobile insurance, facilitating travel to clients' homes.

Compensation and Benefits
